How We Met:

A simple story, but proof that you know when you meet the right person…
Alicia and Nick met through Greek Life at Bloomsburg University. The brothers of Delta Pi were attending a party at the Alpha Sigma Alpha sorority one night, and during a game, Alicia mentioned to a fellow sister her thoughts on Nick. That same sister prompted a conversation between the couple, and they continued talking through the night. The rest, as they say, is history!

Engagement:

On Thursday, August 15, 2013, Nick asked Alicia to be his wife. Nick, with his dutiful assistant, mother of the bride, Mrs. Susan Kittle, researched the best sunset locations in Myrtle Beach, SC, where they were vacationing. But despite all his research, Nick could not stop the rain from falling! During a wet stroll down the Murrells Inlet beach, Nick turned to Alicia and said, “Alicia, I love you so much. Will you marry me?”

There they were: alone on a wet beach, without that sought-after sunset, with Nick on one knee, when Alicia exclaimed, “Yes!” and the two shared a perfect moment together.

Advice to Future Brides and Grooms:

Brides advice: Enjoy the process, enjoy planning with everyone and try not to stress it will all work out and no matter what it will be the most perfect day as long as you are marrying the man of your dreams!

Groom’s advice: Pick and choose your battles pick two things you want and just say “yes” to the rest!
