Silver Creek Country Club, known as the Lehigh Valley’s best kept secret, offers couples that perfect picturesque location year round to exchange their vows.

“It’s like a postcard,” says Jeffrey DeAngelis, CHSP, Director of Sales and Catering. “Silver Creek offers breathtaking views of the countryside. Our fall foliage is a community favorite. Winter is simply stunning. Wildlife can be seen daily streaking across the golf course and into the wooded area of the property.”

But the beautiful landscape isn’t the only reason why engaged couples are choosing this venue to host their wedding day celebration. Silver Creek is a full-service catering facility offering the finest in culinary delights. All menu items are designed and prepared onsite by its award-winning chef—Wayne Mangles.

Although wedding packages are available, the country club will work with each couple to design their dream menu and desired theme and décor. “All menus are used as a guide and are customized to fit each couples’ taste and budget,” DeAngelis says.

The most popular entrees are filet mignon, North Atlantic salmon over a lobster sauce and signature crab cakes. “We also offer a variety of ‘action station’ carving boards and buffets to suit any need or budget,” he says.

Ceremony and cocktail reception space is available in the outdoor tented area (weather permitting) overlooking the beautiful 18th green.

silvercreek1Silver Creek was built in 1948 by the Bethlehem Steel Company. It was a private family-orientated country club called Bethlehem Steel Club. In the mid-1980s, Bethlehem Steel wanted to sell the club, but instead the members purchased it outright. Today, Silver Creek remains a private country club serving the community. It can accommodate 10 to 220 guests.

“If you like old-world charm, this venue is for you,” says DeAngelis, who adds that the venue is adorned with heavy wooden beams and vaulted ceilings.
