If you’re the kind of bride who cares about where your food comes from and how it was raised, in today’s society you do have options. With more and more people becoming increasingly aware of what they put into their bodies, there is a rise in interest in wholesome, all natural food sources. Does grass-fed or grain-fed mean anything to you? If they do, chances are you will appreciate the services of Catering by Royal Gourmet for your special day.

“What makes Catering by Royal Gourmet different is the farm to table aspect of the food source. There is no middle man here” states Stewart Kessler, Owner of both Catering by Royal Gourmet and Kessler Farms. Kessler Farms has been growing and raising various forms of food since 1780. The last 70 years has been spent raising Black Angus and Herford cattle on their 160-acre farm. They graze on pesticide-free grass, clover and alfalfa when the weather is good. In the winter, they eat legume hay from the farm. Kessler believes in farming the old fashioned way. That means no genetically modified seeds or pesticides, no steroids, no hormones, and no antibiotics. The closed herd is born and raised right here.

royalgourmetwebstory2Service style differentiates Royal Gourmet from most of the other catering options in eastern Pennsylvania and western New Jersey. “This is food you might make at home for your favorite holiday meal” says Kessler. They are masters of the pig roast and specialize in roasting them whole on their own mobile spits. Of course, the pork is raised the same natural way as the beef. And while they will do formal, country or family style meals are more their line of expertise. Pricing is very affordable, ranging from $30-$50 per person and they can accommodate anything from 20 to 500 people at your choice of venue. Style of services range from the Royal Supreme Dinner Menu which includes hors d’oeuvres, vegetable and fruit trays, cheese and cracker displays, three entrees, three vegetables, tossed salad, rolls and butter, coffee, tea, and non-alcoholic beverages served country or buffet style, to the casual cocktail menu. Royal Gourmet pricing includes a full, 8 hour catering service plan with table linens (linen napkins extra). They’ll bake you a cake or serve the one you bring. The china package includes glassware for all foods ordered plus stainless steel flatware. The plastic package includes heavy duty plastic plates plus silver plastic flatware. The paper package includes heavy duty Chinet plates plus white plastic flatware. The menu is flexible for extra entrees or vegetables.
